Wind.
I love that he can find delight in anything, especially what others would be put off by.
We built a new home this year close to the mouth of a canyon. In addition to having no mature trees around our home, when the wind blows, we feel it 🙂 We’ve had a few windstorms this year in the middle of the night so severe that I’ve crouched in my bed praying that God would hold our house up. Our house is very well built (thanks Dad!), but nonetheless, everything seems more dramatic in the middle of the night. Especially when your bed is on an outside wall facing the direction of the wind! Nonetheless, all my prayers have been answered. Our house is still standing strong.
Living a Life Project
I was invited to be a part of a photo project this year with five other photographers. I haven’t done a photo project for a few years, and I can see the difference in not only the amount of work that I do when I have a project, but also the intention and the things that I become more aware of because of having a goal and guide. The quote above is our guide for the year. I’m curious and excited to see what comes of this theme.
