I’m sort of a huge fan of Grand Teton National Park. It runs in my blood. I grew up visiting this amazing part of the world and spent six summers working in the park as a Cocktail Pianist (seriously one of the coolest jobs EVER) and a waitress (one of the not-so-fun jobs EVER).
Since I was so attached to my summers in the Park, Ben and I actually opted to work the summer there together one week after we got married.
That means, that for our first home we lived in a single dorm room with twin bunkbeds and shared a bathroom with a Senior citizen employee. (Just think about that for a moment!)
In addition, I had to look out my door both directions before riding my bike to work at 5:00 a.m. to make sure there were no bears or moose waiting around. How exciting!
Those were the days.
Actually, I much prefer my life now 🙂 And am MUCH HAPPIER to now visit this place as a real life tourist!
My sister spontaneously decided to join us for the first part of our trip. After hiking around Colter Bay, we gave in to the pleas of the little ones and though we were completely unprepared for such an activity, we all went swimming!
My Benny and my Buzzy.
I don’t know which I love more… the cute kid or the amazing double stroller?
Interesting fact…
Ben and I planned our entire trip around WHERE TO EAT.
Pizza at Leek’s Marina is worth the four hour drive…
Until next year, lovely Tetons…
Brooke Snow is a Lifestyle photographer in Cache Valley, Utah. She’s a mountain girl at heart and would choose a mountain retreat anytime over the beach. Back in her wild days she enjoyed swimming in glacier lakes at midnight under the light of the full moon. How scandalous!

Beautiful pictures, as always, Brooke! Love the one of you and Buzzy! And of course, as I’m a WY girl, the Tetons have a place in my heart, as well! Swimming in lakes under a full moon — how wonderful!! But GLACIER lakes? BRRR!! 🙂
Hooray for Wyoming Kate! Love that place! You really should give glacier lake swimming a chance! After a while you can’t feel anything and all is well!!
