Glorious Out-take

Its been so refreshing for me to spend the last few days working on images of MY FAMILY. ┬áLove everyone else like I do,… but I love images of my own family even more čÖé

We spent Christmas with the Snow side of the family, requiring lots of travel many many miles for everyone.  Such a feat deemed itself worthy of a family photo.

Extended family pictures are hard enough when you’re behind camera, but how do you take this crazy photo and be in the photo at the same time?

Oh the glory of a tri-pod and a very innocent neighbor.

Happy New Year… Late.

  1. I love how stoically the grandfather is standing there. As though he is willing the others to shape up and follow suit.

  2. “Stoic” grandfather is probably trying to figure out how to keep five little boys (2 one-year-olds, two two-year-olds, and a four-year-old) out of the mud puddles on the way back to the cars.

Thanks to neighbor Connie for the quick shutter finger and, especially to Brooke, for the fabulous shoot.
