I can give you the stars…

Buzzy has been sick this past week with a cough that has kept the entire house from getting much sleep.

After defiantly refusing any medicine we opted for any old wives remedy we could find.

Thus, we bundled up and went outside in the cold air.

We sat in the backyard. In the middle of the night. In November. In Northern Utah.

(Just in case you were wondering…thats not a November activity I normally recommend!)

Buzzy was purely fascinated by the stars.  So much so, that he has begged for “more stars?!?!?!” every night and day since.

I’m often overwhelmed at parenthood.  Not only do I discover daily that I have no clue what I’m doing, but just when I think we have things figured out a new stage begins for us all to adapt to.

But one comforting thought I have, is that no matter how things change, no matter where we live, no matter how much money we have or don’t have, no matter the state of the world…

I can always give him the stars.

    1. ha ha! Actually, I love yoga. And I love modern dance 🙂 We’ll have to incorporate both into the daily routine!

  3. I smiled when I read your comments about the changes. I feel like that, too. There is not much of feeling safe in parenthood. But perhaps a lot of star gazing, as you say :-)!
Beautiful pictures, beautiful words! Thank you!
