Keeping in line with the idea of authenticity…
We finished off Jesse and Rachels session with their feathered friends.
Jesse is the mastermind behind Appenzell Farm, an organic sustainable farm run by Jesse and my parents that is purely awesome. We’ve been enjoying their pastured eggs and chickens daily for the last 1.5 years and… well… can’t say I can ever have a store chicken or egg again. They are AMAZING. And why wouldn’t they be? Happy Chickens taste better.
The following image was Jesse’s creative stroke of genius. He’d be the only one who has the charm to get 100 chickens to gather in a heart formation… or a few other tricks up his sleeve to get it to work 🙂
Fitting… a Hen and a Rooster.

Those are freakishly hilarious. Nice going on the creativity. When you said your brother “poured” chicken feed, I thought for a moment he actually poured the chickens out in a heart shape, got into position and you snapped the pic. I didn’t see how on earth that would be possible. Then I read it again and figured it out. You shouldn’t let out those secrets so easy!
Nice job though : )
