The morning started off with a bang! Or maybe more of a THUD. I was up early journaling as part of my daily routine when I heard an alarming thud in the next room. We happen to have a little climber on our hands. He climbed right out of the crib and fell to his great surprise. Here’s to hoping he learned from the experience.
In effort to think ahead of the game, I elevated our tree right from the get go.
Yes, we are that cool. Come to our house to see our 7 foot tree resting on an end table 3 feet above ground. It doesn’t look out of place at all…
But apparently window sills still leverage the height you need.
Speaking of tree’s…
Here’s to a midweek artsy attempt 🙂 Auto Focus and playing with White Balance
And even more wild and crazy… my “FIRE TREE”
Panning and slow shutter speeds.

You can read and walk from room to room, read and pick up toys, read and… ‘Oh my goodness, how in the world did you get up there?!?! @#$@%^&*“… Or perhaps she should consider the art of paying attention.

I’ll have to watch my window sills and fireplace hearth carefully this year! Love this post, the one above and the many wonderful posts below. Let’s hope your little climber just keeps on climbing! Sorry…couldn’t help myself 😉
