I first discovered breathwork almost a year ago and it has been one of the most potent healing tools I have ever used. Having confronted deep trauma the past three years, I was at a loss for how to actually get out of the functional freeze state my body was in. I have wonderful lifestyle habits (including meditation, sleep, exercise) but these were not helping to take the edge off. I still cried nearly every day, I lived with high levels of anxiety, my body was always tight, and my stomach would regularly clench in fear.

My first breathwork session I cried more than I breathed. But I felt a wild sense of calm afterward that I hadn’t felt in a long time.

After that, I continued to attend at least one breathwork session a month for the next several months, and each time was such a welcome reset to my nervous system.

The difference that even just a few sessions did for me was so profound I felt called to learn more and joined a Somatic Breathwork Certification and spent a week in Austin, Texas, so I could learn and practice in person with brilliant soul-led people. This was life-changing on every level.

I believe so deeply that the way we heal our world is by healing ourselves. The more we heal our own hearts, bodies, and minds, we, in effect, change the world because we are responding differently and showing up differently in all of our interactions. There is a ripple effect.

Do you need an emotional release?
Could you use some healing support?
How would letting go of the emotional burden you’re carrying help you in your life right now?

I would love to support you, dear one.

If this calls out to you, come and join me.

The light in me honors the light in you.

Namaste,

Brooke

P.S. My first several experiences with breathwork were in person in a community setting, so I was skeptical about doing it online. My first online experience came much later. It was just me at home by myself, lying on the floor next to the fireplace. I was astonished at how powerful my session was and, in some ways, how I felt more comfortable to release because no one else was around. There are unique benefits to either setting. Online can often feel like a safer entry point for people because they can stay in the comfort of their own homes. If this is totally new to you, I invite you to try it out and experience it for yourself. I’m here to support you!
