If you’ve followed this blog very much, you’ll already know Lindsey. She contributes a fabulous article here every week called the “Midweek Motivator”, to help encourage creative minds.

Really, I had been secretly benefiting from her unique and inspiring outlook on life for years, and finally decided I should be more unselfish and share her with everyone else!

Lindsey writes a fabulous blog at Abridgetobrooklyn.com (that apparently I’m supposed to contribute to on occasion, but its been awhile… its sort of hard to live up to her fantastic writing skills and sense of humor. I usually read her posts, die laughing and then end up wishing I was funny.)

But really you shouldn’t read that blog at all. There are NEVER any giveaways! There are never any list posts. There are never any product reviews. All you get is a large dose of humor and morale in a finely written perspective that ends up only leaving you with thoughts on how you can be more positive and live a more fulfilled life. Nope. Definitely not worth it. Did I mention there are never any giveaways? Why bother, right?!

Lindsey is one talented gal. You may recall the Dancing on top of a Mountain post we did while we were both pregnant. Well, all today’s images depict the other half of the shoot that I never blogged. Looking at the images now makes me long for the lovely weather of September, and might make Lindsey long for her previous agility (she’s only got a few weeks left till the delightful due date for little person #2!)

She’s really one of the coolest people I know.  She’s got TONS of ZIP.  Lots of humor.  Lives in Hawaii. And is one of my best friends.  Oh yeah… and she’s my sis 😉

  1. Ha ha! I saw the line “She’s got zip” and I thought, “I have to find out who Brooke snapped a photo of that has zip!” Then….”Oh wait! its me! –huh….” (I had just woken up and waddled to the computer and wondered if my husband would ever recognize me if someone was calling me “zippy!”)But Hey! WE did have zip when we climbed that mountain right!

Thanks for the early morning (here) surprise. YOU are funny. (You just made me laugh about how I never have giveaway’s or blog lists…that might just have motivated me to giveaway that bag of socks that I have never worn here in Hawaii or to make a list of reason’s I don’t like face book–just to stir up some controversy!)

Thanks again for letting me work with you, being my friend and sister, and being super handy with the camera.

Note to audience: In all above pictures I kept telling her I was going to throw up because I had morning sickness so bad. Somehow, you can’t even tell. She is a genius I tell you!
