These tiny tips are designed to give you one small thing you can do to be a better creator in your life. Each tip is inspired by the Law of Creation. Creation includes what we see, say, feel, and do, which leads to who we become. Unconditional love…
I confess, it has been a process for me to begin to believe that God loves me and all people unconditionally. My previous episode goes into great detail on the principle of unconditional love and in this episode I want to focus on the application. How can we begin to believe and even more so experience this unconditional love of God?
There’s a verse I love in Moses chapter six that says,
“… all things have their likeness, and all things are created and made to bear record of me, both things which are temporal, and things which are spiritual; things which are in the heavens above, and things which are on the earth, and things which are in the earth, and things which are under the earth, both above and beneath: all things bear record of me.”
I invite you to think for a moment on the imagery presented here. It’s speaking of all creation, the heavens and the earth as a likeness and bearing record of who God is. Do you have any memory in your life of experiencing the heavens or the earth as a welcoming, peaceful, and grounded presence?
One of the defining features I love about being in nature is that it never judges me. I’ve escaped to nature plenty times in anger, in sadness, in frustration, or pain. Always I am welcomed. Nature has never once condemned me.
I’ve come to nature for healing, clarity, and solace.
I’ve come to nature for fun and adventure.
I’ve come to nature for recreation.
Whether it is the mountains, the trees, the ocean, flowers, birds, rocks, boulders, or streams, there is always a constant presence that is peaceful and welcoming with NO CONDITIONS.
I don’t have to dress or behave in an approved way. I don’t have to say the right things. I don’t have to have money, fame, or success. I don’t have be perfect or even be someone I’m not. Nature always welcomes me just as I am.
Nature offers her abundance to all.
An apple tree doesn’t discriminate who partakes of her fruit. She simply fills the measure of her creation and gives all she has to whomever will receive.
Flowers do not discriminate who is privileged enough to enjoy their beauty. They simple shine and show their glory to whomever will notice.
Rivers, and streams do not discriminate who can taste of the fresh cool water or travel the current. They give and flow for all who will receive.
The sun shines on us all. The rain falls on us all.
Love is the life force energy that gives light and life to all things. Love is the pulse that clocks the turn of the seasons and calculates the cycle of the acorn maturing to the majestic oak tree.
Nature is perhaps the most abundant evidence we have of God’s unconditional love.
If you doubt God could possibly be unconditional in love, I invite you to tune into the evidence right outside your window. Go put your feet in the grass. Go for a walk. Go notice the trees, mountains, water, and animals around you. Approach nature and touch it. Feel it. Smell it. See it. Taste it. Watch what happens. It welcomes you and gives all it has to you with no conditions.
“… all things have their likeness, and all things are created and made to bear record of me, both things which are temporal, and things which are spiritual; things which are in the heavens above, and things which are on the earth, and things which are in the earth, and things which are under the earth, both above and beneath: all things bear record of me.”
God’s love is unconditional. Just ask Mother Nature.
See it.
Say it.
Feel it.
Do it.
Become it.
