The creative wheels have been turning for months, but I’m only getting around to this now. I have partnered with Lindsey on a commercial venture that we’re pretty excited about. (Inspired by my Dad actually… of all people. He probably doesn’t even remember suggesting the idea!)
We’re venturing into the world of Greeting Cards, pairing my photography with her witty one liners!
We’ve been gathering the ideas for several months now, and have come to a stand still where we can’t progress further until we actually have the photography completed!
That’s where you come in!
If you are interested in being a model for any of our greeting card shoots, now is your chance!
We’re looking for all types of models, but this week, I’m casting specifically for children. (We will do adults, couples, etc. soon.)
Test Sessions: April 9th, and 10th
Rather than seek models one at a time for each individual shoot, we have decided to have a big Test Session Day to compile a “catalog” of models to draw from. This way, we can know all our options for the fun greeting card shoots we’re planning for that week. If interested in participating in this fun project, please sign up for a time slot HERE. We’ll allot ten minutes per child during the Test Session.
Who we’re looking for:
-Kids age 2-12
-Happy, playful, sincere, humorous, or theatrical personalities who are willing to imagine, pretend, and have fun.
-Can follow general directions
-Parents who are willing to sign a commercial model release. Your child’s picture, if selected for a commercial shoot, will appear on greeting cards that will be sold to make people happy. You must be okay with this!
What’s in it for you?
Besides having your child’s face bring delight to those who receive the cards? If your child is chosen for a Greeting Card session you receive $100 print credit towards the purchase of any of the images from that session.
These are not your typical sessions! We have some extremely fun ideas in mind and are quite confident that all involved with be delighted with the experience!
If you have questions, please leave them in the comments section, as others may have the same question and we prefer to answer them there!
We’re so excited! We hope you will be as well!
Pass along the info to anyone who you think may be interested!
Oh yes… and those who participate in the Test Session Day… we promise we’ll make it worth your time 🙂 We have something prepared for you as well 😉

What an exciting adventure for the two of you! I can’t wait to see the outcome!
I wish so badly that we lived closer to come and do this for you. It would be so much fun with my two stinkers 🙂 🙂
Can’t wait to see how it turns out!!
Can my kids do it? Savanna is almost 3 and Carter is almost 5. I would love this!!!
oh man Lucy would be SO good at this!!! Too bad we live so far away!
What a fun idea!! Can’t wait to see the images you capture!! 🙂
I signed Austin up! He said he would LOVE to do it! =) All of the dates on the sign up sheet say Apr. 9, though, even the Saturday times. (Apr. 10)
OOPS! Thanks Kristina! That’s what I get for doing this late last night and early this morning! It’s really supposed to be SATURDAY 🙂 I’m excited to see Austin! I was actually hoping you would sign him up because I think he’d be perfect 🙂
This seems like fun! I don’t know how my girl will do but I’ll give it a shot anyway!
Just checkin’ really quick… we aren’t obligated to buy anything if our kids model for you, right?! Like if our child’s images are chosen for your cards and we earn the $100 print credit, we don’t HAVE TO spend any money upfront unless we want to print more than $100 worth of photo products, right?! Let me know. I think my 2 year old would be PERFECT for this project.
Lisa! There is no purchase obligation necessary. The test session is free, and if you are selected to participate in a greeting card shoot, the $100 print credit is just a “thank you”. You can purchase more than that if you like, but no obligation 🙂
what a fun adventure! i can’t wait to see some finished products!
You mean age 2 MONTHS right…ha ha ha! Can’t wait to buy your cards!
