There’s often a quiet shame around the act of receiving. Culturally, we’ve come to see receiving as selfish, indulgent, or even weak. Many of us have been conditioned to believe that nobility lies in constant giving, that somehow humility means not accepting support, praise, or abundance. But here’s the simple truth: giving requires energy, and energy can only be replenished by receiving.
