You don't need to get better at never being triggered.

You can get better at finding your way back to peace.

What if peace doesn’t require everything to be okay?

For a long time, I thought peace meant life was going well.

I was getting along with the people I loved.
I felt good about myself.
I was grateful and positive.
I wasn’t angry.
Nobody was disappointed in me.
I was making progress toward the things I wanted.

Everything was okay, so I was okay.

But then life would happen.

Someone would say something that hurt.
I’d lose my temper.
I’d make a mistake and replay it over and over again.
I’d worry about what someone thought of me.
I’d know the boundary I needed to set—and then second-guess myself because someone else might be disappointed.
I’d spiral into fear or self-doubt and wonder what happened to the confident, grounded version of me I had worked so hard to become.

The peace I had worked so hard to find suddenly felt incredibly fragile.

And eventually I began to wonder:

What if peace isn’t something I have only when everything around me is okay?
What if peace is knowing how to stay with myself when it isn’t?

When someone is disappointed in me.
When I’m angry.
When I’m afraid.
When I make a mistake.
When a relationship is hard.
When life doesn’t go according to plan.

Maybe peace isn’t the absence of hard moments.
Maybe peace is knowing how to come back to yourself inside them.

🌿 Peace is a practice.

Knowing what to do and being able to do it are two different things.

For years, I tried to become better at being human.

So I read the books.
I took the courses.
I listened to the podcasts.
I learned how to question my thoughts, meditate, forgive, practice gratitude, and set intentions.

And so much of it genuinely helped.

I knew how I wanted to respond.

I knew I shouldn’t take everything personally.
I knew I couldn’t control what other people thought of me.
I knew I wanted to be patient and compassionate.
I knew one mistake didn’t define me.
I knew fear didn’t have to run my life.

But knowing something when I felt calm was very different from being able to access it when I was triggered.

In those moments, I could lose my temper and regret it later.
I could know someone’s opinion didn’t define me and still spend hours replaying what they said.
I could know exactly what boundary I needed and still feel terrified to disappoint someone.
I could understand that my fear wasn’t rational and still feel completely consumed by it.
And because I had done so much personal-growth work, I often judged myself even more when this happened.

I knew better. So why couldn’t I do better?

Eventually I realized I wasn’t missing another insight.
I didn’t need to become better at understanding what I should do.

I had spent years training my mind. I needed to start practicing with my body.

Your mind isn’t the only part of you that needs practice.

So much of personal growth happens through understanding.

We learn new ideas.
We question old beliefs.
We change the stories we tell ourselves.
We gain insight into why we are the way we are.

All of that matters.

But when life gets hard, your reaction doesn’t begin with a carefully considered thought.

Your heart races.
Your stomach drops.
Your chest tightens.
You feel the urge to fight, flee, shut down, fix it, defend yourself, or make everything okay.

Your body responds before you’ve had time to remember everything you know.

That’s why another insight isn’t always enough.

You need something you can practice.

Something that helps you notice what’s happening while it’s happening.
Something that gives you a way to work with yourself instead of fighting yourself.
Something you can actually reach for in the middle of the hard moment—not just understand afterward.

This is where nervous system practice changed everything for me.

I stopped asking:

“How do I become so healed that I never react this way again?”

And started asking:

“What can I do when I do?”

That question changed my relationship with myself.

Because the goal was no longer to rise above my humanity.

The goal was to learn how to stay with myself inside it.

This is what we’ll practice for 40 days.

40 Days of Peace is about building simple practices you can actually reach for when life gets hard.

You won’t be asked to dig up difficult experiences or intentionally put yourself into an activated state.

Instead, you’ll spend a few minutes each day practicing simple tools when you’re not in the middle of the hard moment.

You’ll learn ways to work with your body through movement, breath, sound, touch, awareness, and other simple nervous system practices.

You’ll notice which tools feel good to you.
Which ones help you feel more grounded.
Which ones help you release stress.
Which ones help you reconnect with yourself.

And through repetition, they’ll become more familiar.

So when life does happen…

When you can feel yourself starting to spiral.
When you’re furious and don’t want to say something you’ll regret.
When someone’s disappointment makes you question a decision you know is right for you.
When fear shows up and wants to make the decision.
When one difficult conversation threatens to become a difficult day—or week.

You’ll have something to reach for.

Not another idea for your mind to remember.
But a tool you’ve practiced with your body.

You won’t use it perfectly every time. (That’s not the goal.)

But over these 40 days, you’ll begin building a toolbox of simple practices you know how to use—not only to help you find your way back when you get knocked off center, but to build greater capacity for life’s everyday stress so you don’t get knocked off center quite so easily in the first place.

That’s the kind of peace we’re practicing here.

How does it work?

Think about taking an online yoga class.

You push play. Someone guides you through the movements. You follow along.

You don’t have to memorize the poses or understand exactly why each one works.

You practice. And over time, your body learns.

40 Days of Peace works in much the same way.

Each week, I’ll give you a new 10–15 minute guided nervous system routine.

Push play and I’ll guide you through a series of simple tools for the body using things like movement, breath, sound, touch, and awareness.

Then throughout the week, you can repeat the whole routine—or pull out just one tool and practice it for a minute or two on its own.

The goal is simple: practice at least one tool a day for 40 days.

You’re practicing these tools in ordinary, non-activated moments so your body becomes increasingly familiar with them.

Over time, that practice can help you build greater capacity for everyday stress and give you familiar tools to reach for when something does knock you off center.

Week by week, you’ll discover what works for you.

What helps you settle.
What helps you move stress through.
What helps you feel more present.
What helps you come back to yourself.

By the end of our 40 days together, you won’t just know more about how to handle life’s hard moments.

You’ll have a toolbox you’ve actually practiced with your body.

Each week for six weeks you'll receive three things:

A simple audio lesson.
A short audio lesson to help you understand what you’re experiencing and why these practices work.

The lessons support the practice without giving you a mountain of information to keep up with.

A guided nervous system routine.
A 10–15 minute video you can simply push play and follow along with.

Each routine will introduce you to several simple tools you can practice throughout the week—either by repeating the full routine or choosing individual tools to use on their own.

A live call with me.
We’ll meet each Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. MT for one hour to practice together, answer questions, and help you integrate what you’re learning into your actual life.

Can’t make it live? Everything will be recorded.

You’ll have 12 months of access to all lessons, routines, and call replays.

This may be for you if…

You’ve done a lot of personal growth work, but sometimes wonder why you still react the way you do.

You understand your patterns intellectually, but knowing better doesn’t always help you do differently in the moment.

You find yourself replaying conversations, worrying about what other people think, or second-guessing yourself when someone is disappointed in you.

You want to respond differently in your relationships—without expecting yourself to never get angry, hurt, afraid, or triggered.

You’re tired of judging yourself for your reactions and want to meet yourself with more compassion when you’re having a hard time.

You want to feel less easily knocked off center by everyday stress—and more confident that you can find your way back when you are.

Most of all, you want to trust yourself to handle your life without losing yourself in it.

This probably isn’t for you if…

You’re looking for a quick fix that will make sure you never feel triggered, angry, afraid, or overwhelmed again.

You’re primarily looking for more information rather than a practice you can actually use.

You’re not willing to spend even a few minutes regularly practicing the tools.

You need individualized mental health treatment or support for acute trauma. This program can complement professional care, but it isn’t a replacement for therapy.

40 Days of Peace isn’t about becoming perfectly calm. It’s about developing a different relationship with yourself when life isn’t.

Hi, I'm Brooke.

For years, I taught meditation, mindset, and personal growth—and I genuinely believed that if I learned enough and practiced enough, I could become the kind of person who didn’t get so thrown by life.

Then life gave me experiences I couldn’t think, meditate, or positive-mindset my way through.

That’s what led me deeper into the nervous system and changed the way I understand peace.

I didn’t need to become better at never reacting.

I needed to learn how to support myself when I did—and build more capacity for the things life asked me to hold.

Today, I’m a certified Neuro Somatic coach, meditation teacher, and somatic breathwork facilitator.

40 Days of Peace brings together the practices that have most changed the way I move through my own life—and the way I support my clients through theirs.

My Practice Guarantee

I believe deeply in the value of this work—but I also believe the value comes through practice.

So here’s my promise:

Show up for the 40 days. Complete the weekly practices, attend the live calls or watch the replays, and genuinely put what you’re learning into practice.

If you do that and reach the end of the program feeling that 40 Days of Peace wasn’t worth your investment, email me and I’ll refund your $500.

I don’t need you to practice perfectly. I just ask that you actually practice.

That’s the whole point of these 40 days.

Frequently Asked Questions:

How much time will this take?

The intent of 40 Days of Peace is to practice at least one nervous system tool each day for 40 days.

That can look like anything from 1 minute to a full 10-15 minute routine. This is meant to meet you where you’re at. If this is all you do, you’re doing the most important part. I provide a new guided routine video each week you can watch and follow along to learn the individual tools.

To supplement your practice, each week also includes an audio lesson (10-15 minutes) and one live group call (1 hr). These are optional but will help you mentally understand what is happening in the body when you do the tools. Replays are available for the live call if you are unable to make it.

Come back.

Seriously.

There is no catching up required and no such thing as being behind.

One of the deepest things you can practice here is discovering that missing a practice doesn’t require you to abandon the practice.

No.

I’ll teach you what you need to understand along the way.

And if you already have an established meditation, therapy, coaching, or spiritual practice, this work can complement the tools you already use.

Yes. You’ll have replay access to the program for 12 months, including the live call recordings.

No. 40 Days of Peace is an educational and experiential coaching program and isn’t a substitute for mental-health treatment or medical care.

If you’re currently experiencing significant trauma symptoms or mental-health concerns, this work may be most appropriate alongside support from a qualified healthcare professional.

No—and that’s not the promise.

You’re human.

Your nervous system is supposed to respond to life.

The goal isn’t to eliminate your activation. It’s to help you increase your awareness, flexibility, capacity, and ability to return.

You don’t have to wait for life to become peaceful to experience more peace.

Life will still be life.

There will still be hard conversations, difficult emotions, unexpected changes, and moments that knock you off center.

The goal isn’t to make all of that disappear.

It’s to have more room to hold what life brings—and to know how to find your way back to yourself when you need to.

That’s what we’ll practice together for 40 days.

I’d love to have you join me.
