Photography Talent Scholarship Finalists!

What a hard decision! We had so many neat entries representing fabulous people who were local, as well as several different states, and even some international entries! It takes a lot of courage to enter, and I just want to thank everyone who crossed over the comfort zone and put themselves out there! You’re awesome!  Keep shooting!!!

I requested that people send their most “compelling” image. To me, I find something compelling that evokes some type of emotion from a viewer.  And certainly, what I find compelling may be different from someone else.  But I felt that these images certainly had the “compelling” factor!

I really struggled narrowing it down to five, so I put one extra image in the mix. Here are our final 6 picks.  All very different from one another, and hard to judge against each other. I know its not comparing apples to apples in any of the entries or finalists. Maybe if I ever do this again I’d pick a theme for the images to be more on level playing ground. We live and learn!

But for now…

Which image do you find the most compelling?

  1. They are all so nice. I really like the emotion of picture 2, yet the color, clarity, and eyes of number 6 are awesome as well! Good luck choosing! The winner will be very, very lucky!

  2. they are all great but I LOOOOOVE the emotion in #3, the sheer emotional power that that photo has is incredible! I also love #6, but I don’t think they need photography classes, it’s so pro.
