Secret Moments

When I was little my mom told me that animals could talk at midnight on Christmas Eve.  I believed her.  I had a plan.  I was going to stay up late and teach our Collie dog, Saidie, math.

Yes.

Math.

Have no idea where that came from.  Apparently I shed that interest as soon as long division came along.

Nonetheless, I think somehow there’s still an interesting communication that happens between kids and animals, whether its learning math or sharing secrets, reading stories, or just enjoying company.

Buzzy and Quincy are great pals.

Brooke Snow is a Lifestyle photographer in Cache Valley, Utah.  By all standards she should really love animals.  She grew up with Collie dogs, horses, cats, and even had a few exciting run ins being chased by a Moose, and a herd of 114 Elk on the way to school through snow drifts (not an exaggeration).  But thats a story for another day.

Brooke teaches private photography lessons , online photography classes, as well as seasonal photography classes in Logan, Utah.

  3. These are so awesome! They look like an inspirational shot for a children’s book. And is it weird to say, but that Collie is gorgeous! No wonder Buzzy loves him.

  4. Love these! They remind me of the family gatherings at the Hollow and your grandpa and grandma since that is when I got to see the Collie dogs.
