Rain. Rain. Part 1.

The day of our model shoot for the morning April Advanced class greeted us with storm clouds, brisk temperatures, and rain.  And as requested by the class, we had two lovely young families with young children.

We braved the elements for about 20 minutes at our usual model location, but wanting to keep babies and families happy, we resorted to a sheltered location that ended up to be incredibly fun.

A greenhouse 🙂

I probably shouldn’t admit how jealous I was.  I have secretly saved the idea of a greenhouse for about two years, waiting for the perfect moment to use it.  I hadn’t expected the perfect moment requiring me to “share”.  Oh my prideful self!  It was probably a good lesson for me!  My students were awesome, the models were fantastic and let it go on record that the babies were all smiles for an entire 90 minutes of shooting.  Absolutely perfect!

Here’s our first lovely family models!

  1. Ok, so now I totally have to do a shoot in a greenhouse… I love the depth of field that the greenhouse allows and of course the way their outfits match the plants and flowers.

  2. LOVE this! (Too bad we didn’t go there first!) You are amazing Brooke, I love every shoot you do.

  3. Love this! (Too bad we didn’t do it first!) You are amazing Brooke, I love every single shoot you do.

  4. You could always “forget” about that rule you have about not shooting in the same place twice….
    Wave of hand.
These are not the droids you are looking for.
