Trying something new today! I’ve wanted to do a video blog post for a long while…just something about being able to hear and see someone that is a little more personal than reading typed print 🙂
Today I’m sharing a passage I read from Dane Sanders new book The Fast Track Photographer Business Plan: Build a Successful Photography Venture from the Ground Up
This one passage changed everything for me. Lets just say REVELATION time! Perspective re-alignment to the max, and in such a way that I treat and approach my life and business very differently.

Her newest hobby includes quality over quantity and the exciting pursuit of doing great work in a minimal amount of time. So far… some things are a bit harder than others. Cooking and housecleaning still take too much time, especially when you have a little leader who has the opposite goals in mind 🙂

Ohhhhhhhhhhh. I like video’s. (Everyone in our house has been saying ohhhhhhh a lot because the little squirt says it a lot and it is so stinking cute.) You look great on video and have a great “video” presence, but most importantly I do like the pages you shared. I was chatting about this with my spouse (the engineer) just last night in reference to church callings. We made the conclusion it is hard to listen to the spirit if you are trying to please PEOPLE. Or, in the case of your business, to listen to you internal compass when you are constantly chasing after your agenda. I hope I just made sense. Yellow blue Brooke!

I like these! For those of us who don’t get to see in you in person a lot, it’s fun! And it often means more when you hear someone say it instead of read it, even though once you get to know someone you can read their blog almost as if they are speaking to you.
