Living a Life

New cut.

My stylist told me that your hair can reveal a lot about your life…like how eight months ago after nearly dying after childbirth, my hair changed color.
Can you see it?
Traumatic experiences leave their mark.

I’m grateful to be alive. I’m trying to ignore the teeny twinge of insecurity that it looks like a bad color job (ombre isn’t my thing 😉 ) and instead keep telling myself that it’s my badge of honor.

Life is too short to worry.

Check out my others friends doing this project: Andrea, Rhonda, Erin, Naomi, Kinsey.

  1. It really DOES leave its mark doesn’t it. Eli saw my stomach the other day and asked what the lines were and I told him stretch marks. That they came from all these hooligans around the house. He then told everyone about my “lined” stomach 🙂

I think you look fabulous and I’m REALLY glad it all worked out in the end. You still have work to do here on earth 😉

  2. I think it looks lovely! And i’m enjoying learning more of your story and about you. Glad you are OK…have you shared your story?

  3. I agree with Rhonda, you look amazing! My body also holds the marks of my pregnancies. I keep trying to tell myself that these reminders are beautiful but it hasn’t sunk in yet 😉
