Inspired by Life: Library Shoot

I boycotted T.V. in 2008 for good… and have never missed it.  I am so much more productive when its not even an option for distraction in my house.  As such, I read A LOT.  I often meekly approach Ben with puppy eyes asking if its okay for me to submit the latest amazon cart order I have ready to go.  I figure, hey, some people spend $100/month on a cable package… I just want to replace that type of bill with a box of great books!

Thankfully, there is this really cool place, called “The Library”, where you don’t even have to pay for books!  They borrow them to you and you get to read them for free!  How cool is that?!

Unfortunately, my small town library is small enough that they don’t always have the latest release that I’m searching for (they don’t even have library cards actually… the librarians just know you by name) so I still have a strong amazon relationship going on.

Libraries hold a quiet sacredness to me.  So much knowledge, enlightenment, inspiration, entertainment, all to be discovered by anyone willing to just slow down from the fast digital distraction world.

I need more moments like this.
