Home Away From Home [Family Life Project 52]

I went all out this week for the Family Life Project for 2 reasons:

1.  I put on make-up and did my hair so it really should be documented 😉

2.  Buzzy decided he’s boycotting naps until he’s 90 years old, so we had about 3 hours to burn at the park.

This weeks theme is

Your Home Away From Home

I combined photo and video into the following short clip. I am loving video and the power of combining it with still shots.  So much fun!

Buzzy would prefer to live outside more than in his nice family home any day.  So for all the decent weather months we spend HOURS at the park.  I think I got more sun last year than my entire life combined. This year is shaping up the same.

Since it is Spring Break around here, we had the entire Elementary School playground to ourselves.  All for the best since I would have appeared a fool had anyone seen me running around with a tri-pod, remote, and timer.

  1. You are the coolest mom! Buzzy is so stinkin’ lucky. 🙂 I love the shots, and I love imagining you running around the park with a tripod. Tee hee. The video/still shot combo really is fantastic. I found myself smiling the entire time. Thanks for the morning cheer.

  2. Absolutely stunning! What a wonderful afternoon – I’m sure Buzzy will remember this trip for the rest of his life. Which will you be hanging up in your home? Have a beautiful weekend!

  3. I loved that video! And the cute little tune that plays along with it, it has such a happy beat. Phew! That little Buzzy has GOT so much energy it must be hard to keep up with him sometimes, you absolutely need and deserve chocolate every single day!

  4. And the tunes. Perfection! Loved the b&w of you in the tunnel and him sitting on the bike rack. Adored your waving to him in color from below. Fav was the barefeet on the slide. Lucky little dude to have this to remember what a firecracker of a mom he picked. : )
