It’s been a while since I’ve received nasty comments on Instagram, but today I got two.
A year ago those type of messages would have felt overwhelming and hurtful. Today I can see the messages and have compassion for the senders and know that it doesn’t mean anything about my worth and love-ability.
(I do still get a lingering sadness, but moreso for the people and what it must be like to live with so much fear.)
It’s taken a lot of rejection for me to learn how to not take things personally. I’ve learned the hard way. (And I’m still working on it 😉
On my own path to learning compassion and unconditional love, Mother Nature has been my greatest teacher.
At my recent meditation retreat I was introduced to the practice of Nature Bathing and it has been so delightful and glorious in helping me connect on a deeper level with the abundant love that is all around us.
While people can not always be trusted to be supportive (and can even be hurtful), Mother Nature is a source of steady and grounded love that we can tap into whenever we need.
On this weeks Co Create podcast episode I’m introducing the practice of Nature Bathing and sharing my most recent insights and experiences with this beautiful resource.
Do you practice Nature Bathing? I’d love to know!
You are a creator.
Feel, be, see, say, and do.
The light in me, honors the light in you.
Namaste,
brooke
