Behind the Scenes: The Temp worker

Hi.  My name is Buzzy.

My mom said that since I was so cute,  I could be her photo assistant!

(She never lets me come on regular shoots, but this one was spontaneous because of the rain and just “for fun”).

I am a good scout for exciting locations.

I’m great at finding props!

I also got the stylist job.  My sprayer is to help emphasize rain on the umbrellas.

But I think its more useful as an innovative water bottle for snacks.

No one told me that assistants don’t get to jump in puddles for pictures!

I demand a change of the job description!

EDITORS NOTE:

My assistant was quite delightful for most of the shoot, but it seems that he may only last as a temp.  I really need someone more reliable and who can last with a positive attitude all the way through.

Despite the challenge, Buzzy wanted to share with you the slideshow that he helped to make 😉

SLIDESHOW

Brooke Snow is a Lifestyle photographer in Cache Valley, Utah.  She enjoys corn on the cob (only when cut off…because eating it on the cob brings all those little corn fibers in between your teeth…) and fresh strawberries from her very own miracle patch.  (Miracle patches grow despite neglect or stomping toddlers.  Truly a must at the Snow house.)

Brooke teaches private photography lessons , online photography classes, as well as seasonal photography classes in Logan, Utah.

  1. I hope that someday Buzzy can forgive me. 🙂 It was delightful to have him there with us, even at the end when his employee satisfaction was a little low. Hey Buzzy! Thanks for helping your mom during our shoot, and for creating such a delightful slideshow. We love it!

  2. This is so cute and fun! Don’t worry, it won’t be long before Buzzy is directing the whole shoot. He won’t be a temp long.

  3. Dear Buzzy,

It looks like you had a lot of fun being your mom’s assistant at the puddle shoot. Too bad you didn’t get to jump in the puddles with the girls but I’ll bet you’ll get to do it some other time. In the meantime, in about 13 years, when you begin to think that your mom and dad aren’t the smartest, most talented, and wonderful people in your world, look through your photos and remember all the fun times you had growing up with a mom who let you help with things like the puddle shoot.
