A Mini Experiment

After a few inquiries came in about the possibility of offering a mini session for holiday cards, (something I surprisingly have never done before!), I decided it was time to try a little “experiment”.

Mini means “short” in this case.  My usual sessions usually last between 1-2 hours, so I was wondering two things:

1.  How many fabulous shots could I achieve in 15 minutes?

2.  How much could I fit into a 30 minute family session?

Since much of my work is a product of longer shoots, I wanted to show an example of one that was timed to the minute 🙂  Literally!  In order to make the challenge even greater, I decided upon this lovely family with SIX CHILDREN 🙂  I owe Micah big time anyway (more on that later), so a complimentary shoot is one of my humble offerings of gratitude to the help that he’s giving me right now.

Here are a few favorites from the first FIFTEEN MINUTES... As you can see, its TOTALLY ENOUGH TIME… even for a family of eight!

And how about the entire 30 minutes?  Check out the entire session in this lovely slideshow.

Are you sufficiently excited?

Details coming soon!

  2. Brooke these are simply gorgeous! I would love to be able to capture such gorgeousness in 15 mins! I especially love how you captured the essence of each of their personalities in these images.

Would love to know how you do it. Alas, one day maybe the stars will aligne and I will be in Utah for a Brooke Snow workshop. 🙂
